Volunteers are needed to input names and addresses into databases so that
InnVision will be as efficient as possible in communicating with volunteers,
donors, members of the media, and various organizations. This need is
ongoing, as pressing issues make it difficult for the staff to give proper
attention to these very important lists. Generally, the software used
for lists includes Excel, Access and a non-profit application called Donor
Perfect.
InnVision has an annual operating budget of $6 million, and our Accounting
Department does a wonderful job on payroll, reimbursements, invoices,
accounts receivable and accounts payable. Volunteers are needed as support
staff, especially for special projects.
Our clerical staff can always use help answering phones, filing, organizing
and performing other administrative tasks. These assignments are good
matches for retired secretaries and administrators, business administration
students, former office managers, and others who want to make a difference.
The first step in volunteering is to submit the online Volunteer
Application. Please be patient, processing of applications and placement
at a site could take up to two weeks.
