The holiday season is a special time around the world, and with it comes special needs for those who are homeless, jobless, or unable to earn a living wage. Consider brightening the holiday season for a family or individual down on their luck!

Santa’s Cupboard Wish List Gift Ideas

Santa’s Cupboard is a way for the clients of InnVision to take an active role in the gift-giving tradition of the Holiday season. It affirms families, by enabling family members to select, wrap, and give gifts to each other for the holidays. The gifts are set up as a “store”, where participants can “shop” for one another during the week before Christmas. We would greatly appreciate your contributions to any of the following:

New, unwrapped gifts are needed for Santa’s Cupboard, also gift wrapping supplies such as paper, tape, tissue, name tags, ribbons and bows

For Adults: New clothes, wallets, datebook/organizers, ponchos, underwear, socks, scarves, purses, picture frames, pre-paid phone cards, gift certificates, jewelry, perfume, aftershave, etc.

For Children: Multi-cultural and multi-racial dolls, non-violent toys and games, learning games, art supplies, books for all ages, preschool development toys.

For Pre-teen/Teenagers: Portable CD players, radios, or tape players, hand held video games, blank journals/diaries, gift certificates for (food, music, or clothes), watches, glitter nail polish, makeup, hair care products, sports items, etc.

Gift wrap donations may be dropped off at 66 East Rosemary Street in San Jose, from 8:30 am-4:00 pm. Monday through Friday

Holiday Wish List

Supplies:
Gift wrap, Scotch Tape, scissors, ribbon, unfilled Christmas stockings, diapers, blankets, towels, raincoats, ponchos, umbrellas, backpacks, duffel bags, laundry soap, toiletries

Gifts:
We ask that gifts be donated NEW and UNWRAPPED. Gift certificates are always needed and you can designate a monetary gift to be used for gifts or supplies.

 

For Children:
Children's toys for all ages -- nonviolent, non-battery operated, dolls of all ethnicities, children's books, educational toys and games, clothing, new socks and underwear, bike helmets and locks, arts and crafts supplies such as construction paper, glue, paints, etc.

For Teens:
Gift certificates, Walkman tape/CD players, sports clothing and equipment, glitter nail polish, makeup, blank journals, backpacks.

For Adults:
Wallets, purses, gloves, scarves, hats, prepaid phone cards, prepaid gas cards, gift certificates for clothing and groceries. shaving kits, manicure sets, hair-care items, new socks and underwear.

Food:
Canned Hams, Food Vouchers to Costco, Food for Less, Safeway and any other food outlets, extra-large cans of food, cases of 8 oz Styrofoam cups, plastic spoons and forks, commercial hot pads.

Special Wishes:
Storage space, a delivery van or pickup truck, vinyl sofas, a video camera, 4-drawer file cabinets, houses or buildings, microwave ovens, ice machine, vacuum cleaners

Computer Equipment Needed:
