Computer Instructor       weekdays: Georgia Travis Center

Teach small groups the basics of Word, Excel, and computer usage. Bilingual Spanish/English is helpful.

Computer Lab Monitor  weekdays, evenings, various locations

Teach small groups the basics of Word, Excel, and computer usage. Bilingual Spanish/English is helpful.

                                          Provide one-on-one drop-in assistance in Resume writing, WORD,                                                EXCEL, and basic computer skills.

 

Job Search Coach       weekdays: Georgia Travis Center

                                    Teach women interviewing skills, telephone skills, and workplace ettiquette.

Office Assistant -           weekdays, Administration Office
                                        answer phones, help with copying, data entry, mailings, other office work.

Group Projects:
Meal Provider- provide food, prepare and serve a meal at one of InnVision’s programs for the homeless. (appropriate for groups with ability to collect funds or solicit food donations)

Meal-A-Year - restaurants and catering firms can participate by providing one Meal-A-Year (or more often) for one of InnVision’s programs. Meal-A-Year volunteers solicit restaurant’s participation and arrange to pick-up and serve meal.

Vision Outreach - Church groups and youth groups can participate in meal program by preparing food and serving at shelter. Food can be prepared at InnVision’s kitchen or at church.

Adopt-An-Inn - Have your group "adopt" a room or portion of one of the Inn’s to provide period painting and light maintenance, and spring cleaning.

Painting /Cleaning/Yardwork- Provide labor for one-time painting, cleaning, or yardwork projects throughout the year.

 

Wish List - We have current needs for the following items:

Job seekers need organizer/calendar binders, blank journals and notebooks, pens, briefcases, and wallets !!!!!!!

Career clothing

Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and other toiletry items.

Large (food-service sized) cans of soup, chili, and beans

Gift certificates for food, clothing, and necessities

Building materials: sheetrock, primer, hammers, nails

Arts and Crafts supplies: pencils, butcher paper, newsprint pads, charcoal, paints and brushes

Backpacks and duffle bags

Blankets, pillows, pillowcases, sleeping bags.

Diapers (disposable, all sizes)

Towels

Clothing for men, women, and children (if used, should be CLEAN and in GOOD CONDITION)
