NEC/InnVision Golf Tournament is SOLD OUT!

Homeless families and individuals will benefit from
4th year of annual event on May 22.

SAN JOSE, CA - InnVision, the leading Silicon Valley nonprofit providing services to the homeless, is pleased to announce a sell-out for the fourth year of its annual benefit golf tournament.

This is the first year the tournament is being held on the "valley" side of the hill, at the new Coyote Creek Golf Course. "We are delighted to have the support of the community for the work that we do. We hope that the tournament and auction will raise at least $40,000 for InnVision’s programs," says Christine Burroughs, Executive Director of InnVision.

NEC Electronics has returned as title sponsor for the fourth year. Other returning sponsors include Digital Island, Garden City Construction, AeroBank, Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel, ECN Magazine, Barry Swenson Builder, Comerica Bank, and The Mortgage Outlet. Smythe European will once again provide a $50,000 Mercedes as a hole-in-one prize.

New sponsors include Audi America, Lobach Janitorial, Quantum, and Akamba. KRTY’s Gary Scott Thomas will serve as Master of Ceremonies and serve as auctioneer at the dinner following the event. Other celebrity golfers will include Jim Plunkett, Tim Harris, Keena Turner, and Junior Bryant.

Of special interest this year will be a display of portraits done by InnVision client Andr V. Ellison, who will be kicking off his new business, "Andre V’s Artistry." Event-goers will have the opportunity to bid on the commission of a one-of–a kind family portrait by the talented Mr. Ellison.

InnVision provides a system of care including emergency shelters, multi-service centers, and transitional housing. Each year, 11 programs serve nearly 8,000 individuals. The goal of all programs is to help people become independent and self-sufficient.
